Stop Motion  Stop Motion animation is the only art form in the world that can take advantage of all the different types of art. Stop Motion is a technique which utilises photographic methods. You would take a lot of photos and then combine them to make a series of photos look like they are moving.    History Eadweard Muybridge was the first to discover that by lining up a series of cameras and having one take a picture right after the other one in succession, that the result would demonstrate the motion path and trajectory of the objects movement. In 1988 Louis Le Prince made the design for the very first motion picture camera.                                          The Zoetrope Explanation  The Zoetrope is a vintage animated toy which was a major feature in the new The Women in Black. The Zoetrope is device that spins and produces the illusion of moving in a still image. Its moderately easy to use, you need a cylinder with slits cut vertically in the sides to use them for viewing, on the inner surface is a band of images from a few photos. So once its spinning the user would look through the vertical slits at the side and it will portray that the images are moving.
